Hi, my name is Tilly and my pronouns are she/her.

I’m a 21-year-old student at the University of Sheffield, reading Politics and Philosophy. I care deeply about political and social issues and try to translate what I learn into activism.

I’m also a #spoonie, diagnosed with ME/CFS for four years. I aim to spread awareness about invisible illnesses wherever possible.

This blog is heavily influenced by my study of politics and philosophy, but through navigating my own experiences.

It also explores my love of art – both creating and consuming – whether that be drawing, painting, poetry, or film. What I’m most passionate about is where the broad fields of art and politics overlap and intersect.

Hence, the name mindframed reflects:

  • mindset/frame of mind – our outlook; the way we see the world; the way we interpret issues and events.
  • visual frames – the art we hang on gallery walls; the frames of analogue photographs; each frame of a film.

These are topics framed by my mind, but I’d love to hear how you frame them too.
